Los Alamos County is exploring a proposed ordinance to reduce the use of single-use plastic carryout bags, and would like to hear thoughts on this issue from the community.

The County Environmental Sustainability Board is holding a public meeting to discuss the proposed single-use plastic carryout bag ordinance and the community is invited to attend and provide input.

The meeting is 5:30-8 p.m., Thursday, July 16 in Council Chambers at 1000 Central Ave.
