A secure drop box for accepting after‐hours payments for utility bills and other obligations was installed last week on the west side of the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
The secure drop box is cleared Monday through Friday at approximately 3 p.m. and payments received there are posted the same day, according to 311 Customer Care Center Supervisor Catherine Crane. Customers are advised to refrain from leaving cash payments in the after‐hours drop box.
