The Los Alamos County Community and Economic Development Department invites residents and individuals commuting to/from work in Los Alamos to participate in a housing survey that opens on Monday.
The purpose of the survey is to collect information regarding housing needs and priorities within the County and assist staff in the formulation of housing programs and activities. The housing survey is available online via Survey Monkey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Los_Alamos_Housing_Survey
Paper copies of the surveys are also available at County facilities, including the senior centers, 311 Customer Care Center in the Municipal Building and public libraries. Homeowners and renters age 18 and above are invited to participate.
“Housing has been one of the top areas of concern for this community since its inception and this survey gives individuals an opportunity to weigh in on the community’s housing needs, as well as shape the County’s future housing goals and related programming,” said Paul Andrus, Housing and Special Projects Manager for Los Alamos County.
The housing survey will be open for three weeks beginning Monday, Oct 21 and ending Friday, Nov. 8. Results should be available in December.
