County First Half Of Property Taxes Due Dec. 10 – Contactless Payment Procedures Are In Place

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County mailed out the 2020 property tax bills during the last week of October.

The first half of 2020 property taxes will become delinquent after Thursday, Dec. 10.

Payment must be postmarked by midnight Dec. 10 or made online by 3 p.m. Dec. 10 to avoid late payment penalty and interest charges.

Because of the COVID-19 emergency and current “stay at home” executive order, property owners may either place payment envelopes in the drop box in the parking lot of the Municipal Building, or in the drop box in the Municipal Building lobby.

Alternatively, payments can be mailed to P.O. Box 99, Los Alamos, NM  87544, or delivered to a teller through the drive through service at the Los Alamos or White Rock branches of Enterprise Bank & Trust.  

Payments also are accepted online through epay by enrolling at enoticesonline.com. A transaction fee applies for epay.
