County Crew Repairing Water Break On Walnut Street

COUNTY News:

Water crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities are working in the road to repair a water line break on Walnut Street.

There should be no interruption of water services to customers.

Repairs are estimated to be completed around noon today.

The Department of Public Utilities (DPU) operates the county-owned electric, gas, water and wastewater systems under the jurisdiction of the Board of Public Utilities. Board meetings are 5:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month the public is welcome to attend. The DPU is funded by rates paid for electric, gas, water and wastewater services and auxiliary fees, and has provided the community with these services for more than 50 years.
