- 2016 Elections … Closer than you think!
Los Alamo County Clerk Sharon Stover and staff invite citizens to stop by and visit their booth following the parade until 2 p.m. Saturday at Ashley Pond Park.
Stover and staff will be on hand to talk about the upcoming 2016 Elections and offer voter registration services. With the 2016 Elections right around the corner, the Clerk’s Office also will have a voting machine available for demonstration.
“We will have our demonstration or ‘ice cream’ ballots available for the public to test out the Dominion ICE voting machines,” Stover said. “This is a great opportunity to provide our citizens with added exposure to these machines”, she added.
In addition, the Clerk’s Office will provide information and answer questions about FraudSleuth, a free online tool that helps prevent and detect possible fraudulent filings on their property, by notifying citizens when documents are recorded against their name or property.
