Council Tentatively OKs DPU’s FY-2016 Budget

Utilities Manager Tim Glasco, left, Business Operations Manager Karen Kendall and Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities Deputy Manager of Finance and Administration Bob Westervelt answer questions from Council this evening on the DPU’s FY-2016 proposed budget. The DPU’s total budget is $79,070,472, which reflects a 2 percent decrease from its 2015 adopted budget. Glasco told Council that the proposal does not include any projected rate increases except for a previously approved 8 percent sewer rate increase.
