Los Alamos County Community Development Department Director Paul Andrus presents tonight the proposed FY23 budget for his department to council. Council voted unanimously to tentatively approve the proposed budget, which totals $16,119,756. The budget includes several budget options: $160,000 for 1 FTE business assistance coordinator, $75,000 for on-call development design services and $50,000 for a co-work and maker space. Ultimately, the on-call development design services and co-work and maker space were tentatively approved and the business assistance coordinator position was put in the ‘parking lot’ to be discussed later.
