At tonight’s County Council meeting, the Council voted 6-1 to approve action A, directing County Attorney Becky Ehler to draft an ordinance(s) for introduction that would provide for a proposed County Charter change to Article V. – Utilities, with the understanding that such proposed charter changing ordinance will require further approval by Los Alamos County voters at an election in accordance with the County Charter.
