Morrie and Cheryl Pongratz, standing, held a reception at their home Sunday to give residents of the 2500 Central community an opportunity to meet with Ed Birnbaum, center, and find out more about his run for County Council. They discussed a variety of issues that impact County residents, how Birnbaum would approach resolving problems as a councilor, and his views of the future.
