Council Approves Salary Bump For Direct Reports

Los Alamos County Councilor Steven Girrens announced during this evening’s meeting in Council Chambers that as a result of two weeks of personnel evaluations of the County’s three contract employees who report to Council, and a closed session at 6 p.m. today, he moved to award 3 percent raises in pay to County Manager Harry Burgess and County Attorney Rebecca Ehler and a 2 percent raise for Utilities Manager Tim Glasco. He added that the 2 percent raise for Glasco came as a recommendation from the DPU board. The motion passed 7-0. Screen Shot/LAC
