Council Approves Legislative Agenda

At Tuesday’s meeting, the Los Alamos County Council approved 6-0 vote the Los Alamos County FY-14 State Legislative Agenda, Councilor Rick Reiss was not present at the meeting, with one amendment proposed by Councilor Kristin Henderson and seconded by Councilor Pete Sheehey.
The amendment excludes support for imposing the New Mexico gross receipts tax on food from the County’s support of the consensus legislative priorities of the New Mexico Association of Counties and the New Mexico Municipal League.
