Co+op Launches New Look and Messaging

CO+OP News:

The Los Alamos Co+op Market’s new look and messaging has a “Good. Local. Food.” focus. Launched in March, the new branding strengthens the Co+op’s identity as a thriving, professional cooperative business that values the environment and the local community.

The Co+op’s new look resulted from collaboration with the National Cooperative Grocers Association, a service organization that supports food co-ops with their operations. NCGA’s marketing team incorporated the Co+op’s identity with NCGA’s Co+op, stronger together branding, seen on Co+op Deals sales and at StrongerTogether.coop. The result includes an eye-catching, unique logo and a locational icon, the aspen leaf.

The new colorful interior design brings a fresh look to the Co+op and highlights the importance of local products and farmers, whose photos and stories are displayed in the store. The brand elements, messaging and colors are important components of creating the welcoming space the community desires.

In addition to developing a new store brand, the Co+op served as a pilot location showcasing this national brand identity for co-ops around the country.

The Los Alamos Co+op Market can be found at two locations: 95 Entrada Dr. and inside Fusion Multisport on Central Avenue across from CB FOX. Visit www.losalamos.coop or call 505.695-1579 for more information.
