Lisa Bakosi

6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19: Bakosi, local nutritionist and author, will share recipes from her new book – Balance for Busy Moms. As a mother, she understands how a busy lifestyle can make it hard to cook delicious and nutritious meals. This class offers time saving techniques for anyone who wants to make tasty, healthy food.

Ray Joggerst

The Chemistry of Cooking reveals the science behind dispersions, emulsions, protein denaturation, and what makes things gel. Joggerst will share recipes and knowledge, and participants will enjoy the final products – including poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. This event is part of the Los Alamos Science Fest.
