The Northern New Mexico Radio Controlled Car Club (NNRCCC) is holding a regional race, Border Wars, with racers from New Mexico, Texas and Colorado this weekend.
Racing begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 12-13. Qualifying rounds are today Saturday with finals Sunday, at the Overlook Park Race Track in White Rock. The public is invited to watch the races.
NNRCCC started in Los Alamos in 1985 and has been racing at the Overlook Park Track since 1987.
