This Friday, we are opening a couple of films that are not for the kid's but we are holding Frozen, and Hunger Games. Delivery Man, and All is Lost will both leave us this Thursday.

This week we finally got a print of 12 Years a Slave. It will open on Friday for a one week run only. I've had a lot of requests for this film and managed to get it for a week. We're opening it between holidays, as it's not really a holiday film being both brutal, and tragic. The film is getting over-the-top reviews and is sure to get an Oscar nomination. The reviews are nine out of 10.

Out of the Furnace, also opens Friday. It is also a solid R rating that we chose to bring between holidays. It has a stellar cast including Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Sam Shepard, Forest Whitaker and Zoe Saldana. Have a look at the synopsis and decide for yourself if you would like to see this hard, gritty film. I'll be there!

Christmas is around the corner and we'll be opening The Hobbit, Anchorman 2, Saving Mr. Banks, and Walking with Dinosaurs. After that, in January there are many great films including, The Wolf of Wall Street. I will keep you posted on those in the next couple of weeks.

It doesn't look like we'll be getting The Book Thief anytime soon.
