Troop 122 is proud to donate $1,000 to Troop 2, the inaugural Scouts BSA girl troop in Los Alamos.

Troop 122 also would like to take this opportunity to thank First United Methodist Church for its support over the past 65 years.

This year the Boy Scouts of America celebrates 108 years of helping youth become better leaders and citizens. Last year Troop 122 celebrated five boys earning the Eagle Scout rank. This year brings a leadership change with Greg Noeninckx serving as Scoutmaster.

Troop 2 meets 6-7:30 p.m., Mondays at the First United Methodist Church, and accepts young women between the ages of 11-17. Anyone interested in participating in the newest troop in Los Alamos can email Holly Trellue at or call her at 505.670.6256, for more information.

Troop 122 meets 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays at the First United Methodist Church, and accepts young men in their spring semester of 5th grade through senior year of high school, approximately  10-17 years of age. Young men interested in participating in one of the oldest troops in Los Alamos can email Greg Noeninckx at or call him at 682.999.1533 for further details.
