Toppers Fall To Pintos In District Opener

Matthew Owen looks for an opening to the Topper basket, he was the Topper high point shooter with 11 points. The Toppers traveled Thursday night to Moriarty to play the Pintos in John Salvo Gymnasium and led the contest for the first three quarters. But in the fourth quarter the Toppers watched their lead fade away and lost the game 35-38. The Pinto's held the Toppers to just four free throws in the fourth quarter to close out the win.
