Superintendent Kirby Meets With Friends Of Manhattan Project National Historical Park – Los Alamos

Manhattan Project National Historical Park Superintendent Kris Kirby, right, traveled from Denver to meet late Monday afternoon with local Board President Rick Reiss, left, and members of the Board of the Friends of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park – Los Alamos. During the meeting, held in the Nambe Room at Fuller Lodge, Superintendent Kirby discussed a variety of topics including the formation of a stakeholder engagement project to encompass all three parks, Los Alamos, Oak Ridge and Hanford. She also mentioned digital infrastructure work underway and the updating of the MPNHP website. Superintendent Kirby announced a community event planned for Dec. 3 at the Los Alamos Nature Center at which short films will be shown that feature Los Alamos, Oak Ridge and Hanford.
