PEEC: Tour Solar System In Planetarium Friday

This Friday evening, the Los Alamos Nature Center planetarium will be transformed into a spaceship and all ticketed passengers are invited to get up close and personal with some of the solar system’s most exotic destinations. Astronomer Rick Wallace will be the evening’s pilot and tour guide. This exciting event starts at 7 p.m.
During the Tour of the Solar System, the audience will held decide which worlds to visit. The solar system holds countless wonders and mysteries, so be sure not to miss this exciting expedition!
In addition to this talk, the nature center will show the full-dome film “National Parks Adventure” at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16. This vibrant film explores beautiful views and incredible adventures in our nation’s parks. The film was brought to Los Alamos by C.B. Fox, Metzger’s Hardware and the Delle Foundation, with additional funding from Manhattan Project National Historical Park.
Seating is limited for both of these events, so please call the nature center at 505.662.0460 or stop by to reserve your tickets. Admission for both programs is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Events in the planetarium are not recommended for children under age 4.
