PAUL DAVID GAETJENS II April 15, 1959 – July 1, 2019

Paul (Paul David to his family) was educated in Los Alamos, graduating in 1977. He then attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Paul worked more than 20 years at Mesa Airlines, where he received many citations of excellence and was employee of the month on more than one occasion. At Mesa, he met his wife, Zeta Price, and they were married in 1991.

After his retirement in 2006, his health declined. He had a stroke in August 2016. Special thanks to his caregiver for the last two years, Levon Trujillo.

Per his wishes, there was no service. His ashes will be placed at his favorite spot in the Jemez by his best friend, Mikey McCormick. Cards of condolence will be accepted at the family home at 162 Cascabel St., Los Alamos, NM 87544.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal charity as he was a huge animal lover.

Paul was preceeded in death by his grandparents, his niece Michaela Rae Gaetjens and special furry children Animal, Half Pint and Seagrams.

He is survived by his parents, Paul D. and Lucille C. Gaetjens of Los Alamos; his brother John of Los Alamos; his sister Mari of Albquerque and her daughter Madison, also of Albuquerque;  and his brother Ray and wife Theresa Gaetjens and their children Remington and Riley, all of Limerick, Maine. He is also survived by furry friend Little Man and by his special best friends of 45 years, Michael "Mikey" McCormick of White Rock, N.M. and Dr. John Ebinger of Phoenix, Ariz.
