SANTA FE ― The New Mexico Department of Information Technology (DoIT), along with state agency partners, recently launched the New Mexico Business Portal (NMBP).
The new portal serves as a one-stop online resource for New Mexico businesses to streamline their transactions with the state.
“Establishing this new online portal is part of Governor Martinez’s efforts to make New Mexico more competitive and business friendly,” DoIT Cabinet Secretary Darryl Ackley said. “By reducing red tape and helping entrepreneurs streamline their transactions with state government, we can continue to attract new companies and better help those already here grow and thrive.”
Business owners now have a simplified, streamlined way in which they can conduct business with the State of New Mexico. The portal provides access and instruction on various functions and interactions they may need with state government. This includes registering a corporation, filings with the Department of Workforce Solutions and reporting tax information with the Taxation and Revenue Department, among other functions, all meant to help aspiring and current business owners plan, start and maintain their businesses.
DoIT implemented the portal through a partnership with other state agencies, such as the Economic Development Department, Taxation and Revenue Department and the Department of Workforce Solutions as well as others. Visit the New Mexico Business Portal at
