Los Alamos Students Take Top Prizes At 2014 New Mexico State Fair!

Three students from Los Alamos Public Schools won prizes for the artwork they entered into the 2014 Students Art exhibit at the state fair.

Eliana Rodriguez of Chamisa Elementary School won $50 for first place in the elementary division. Her art teacher is Renee Mitsunaga.

Caemlyn Tripp of Los Alamos High School won $25 and second place in the high school division. Her art teacher is Mary Grace.

Jordan Duran of LAHS won $75 for Best of Show. Her art teacher also is Mary Grace.

The awards where presented by the New Mexico Art Education Association. Gov. Suzanna Martinez signed a proclamation making this week Youth Art Week for the state of New Mexico.
