Los Alamos Police Blotter: Nov. 29 to Dec. 5, 2012

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Nov. 29 at 9:27 a.m. / Police charged a 15-year-old boy from Abiquiu with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Los Alamos High School, 1300 Diamond Dr., referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.

DANIEL RODARTE

Nov. 29 at 8:57 p.m. / Police arrested Daniel Rodarte, 27, of Espanola while he was in the Los Alamos County jail, on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

 

 

JESSE STERBA

Nov. 29 at 8:57 p.m. / Police arrested Jesse Sterba, 28, of Hobbs near Diamond Drive and East Jemez Road and charged him with possession of a controlled substance and for having an outstanding District Court warrant.

Nov. 29 at 10:24 p.m. / Police charged a 16-year-old Los Alamos girl in the 3000 block of Trinity Drive with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, referred her to the juvenile probation officer and released her to her parents.

STEVEN MARTINEZ

Nov. 30 at 9:01 a.m. / Police arrested Steven Martinez, 46, of Mendanales at Smith's Food and Drug Centers, 31 Sherwood Blvd., and charged him with shoplifting. The estimated loss is more than $250.

 

 

 

CHRISTOPHER WAJDA

Dec. 1 at 10:06 a.m. / Police arrested Christopher Wajda, 21, of Los Alamos in the 3800 block of Alabama Street on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Dec. 1 at 4:29 p.m. / A 37-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of larceny in the 1700 block of Central Avenue. The estimated loss is less than $500.

Dec. 2 at 10:09 p.m. / The Shell/Giant gas station reported that someone broke into its building in the 100 block of Rover Boulevard. The estimated loss is unknown.

MONICA COOPER

Dec. 2 at 11 p.m. / Police arrested Monica Cooper, 46, of Los Alamos near 9th Street and Central Avenue and charged her with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Dec. 3 at 10:22 p.m. / A 50-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of assault by a household member, battery by a household member and interference with communications in the 1000 block of Seminole Street.

Dec. 3 at 10:30 p.m. / Police charged a 15-year-old Los Alamos boy with assault on a household member, battery on a household member and interference with communications in the 1000 block of Seminole Street, referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to one of his parents.

Dec. 4 at 10:53 a.m. / Police charged a 16-year-old Jemez Springs boy with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Los Alamos High School, 1300 Diamond Dr., referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his guardian.

Dec. 4 at 4:24 p.m. / A 45-year-old man from Grants reported that someone damaged his property in the 2100 block of Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is more than $1,000.

Dec. 4 at 4:25 p.m. / Police charged Jude Pacheco, 22, of Santa Fe near Diamond Drive and Sycamore Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued him a citation to appear in court.

Dec. 4 at 9:12 p.m. / A 36-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone assaulted her in the 2100 block of 41st Street.

Dec. 5 at 9:37 a.m. / A 12-year-old Los Alamos girl reported that she was the victim of larceny on Hawk Drive. The estimated loss is more than $500.

Dec. 5 at 4:20 p.m. / A 29-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone damaged his property in the 500 block of Todd Loop. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.
