Los Alamos MainStreet And Creative District News:

Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District are teaming up with local restaurants to participate in the 10th anniversary of New Mexico Restaurant Week.

This is the first year that Los Alamos will be involved in this event and it will run Sunday, March 10 to Sunday, March 17.

Restaurant Week introduces diners and travelers to the vast array of restaurants and accommodations throughout New Mexico. It is an eight day-long celebration of some of Los Alamos tastiest restaurants.

Participating restaurants will be offering specialized Restaurant Week multi-course menus that feature some of their most delicious and creative plates, ranging anywhere from $15 to $45 per person depending upon the restaurant. Many will offer value-priced lunches as well.

“We decided to participate in Restaurant Week to celebrate the vital role our local restaurants play in our cultural identity and give the restaurants an opportunity to show off their culinary skills,” said Creative District Curator and Event Planner Jennifer Loveless. “For diners, this is an exciting opportunity to sample new foods and experiences at our wonderful collection of local restaurants. With special dining features at affordable prices, diners have a great reason to sample cuisine outside the routine and give local independent restaurants a try.”
