Local Democratic Headquarters is Officially Open

on September 4, 2012 - 10:51am

County Councilor David Izraelevitz, center, introduces former council candidate Ken Johnson, left, to his replacement Michael Redondo, who as a hobby, is an extra in movies requiring him to wear his hair and beard long. Johnson resigned from the race last month because he is likely moving out of town. The introduction of Johnson and Redondo was made Sunday as the Democratic Party of Los Alamos County officially opened its new headquarters in downtown Los Alamos with a grand opening celebration. A crowd of Democrats mixed with some Republicans and Independents filled the large space at 140 Central Park Square to meet a variety of local candidates and hear them speak to the issues facing the community.
