LAPS News:

Los Alamos Public Schools recently completed renovations to one of its leased facilities in Building 6 on the UNM-LA campus.

This 11,002 square foot space is leased out to the Los Alamos National Laboratory and is one of three facilities LAPS leases to the Lab. The space was vacated during the renovation and LAPS is pleased to be able to return the space to them on time as scheduled.

Renovations include new carpet, freshly painted walls and stained doors, new ceiling tiles and upgrading two bathrooms to meet ADA compliance.

“We had great cooperation from the Labs during this renovation,” LAPS Strategic Assets Coordinator Connie Clark said. “It was nice to be able to complete the work on time and return the facility to them with a fresh new look.”
