Members of Los Alamos High School Choir lend a helping hand to their new director Jason Rutledge.

Rutledge is hoping to save a few dollars on utilities this winter by heating his house using a wood burning stove.

“Between moving expenses, paying back student loans, the cost of rent and other living expenses, making ends meet is a challenge,” Rutledge said.

The wood and use of the pick up truck were donated by members of the Los Alamos High School Choir Booster’s Club.
