Lady Toppers Season Comes To A Close

on March 16, 2019 - 8:53am

Even from the opening tipoff, the Toppers height advantage that they enjoyed all season was at jeopardy. The Highland Hornets had three girls over 6 feet tall and used that advantage to dominant the Toppers. The Hornets closed out the Toppers season with a 62-38 victory. The Toppers played a very strong game but were no match for the strength of the Hornets. The game was played Friday night at the Highland High School in Albuquerque. The Toppers closed the season with a 13-16 record, a vast improvement from last year. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
