On The Job At FBI National Academy: Oliver Morris

on August 20, 2019 - 10:41am

On the job at the FBI National Academy is Los Alamos Police Cmdr. Oliver Morris. As a part of the FBI National Academy program, Cmdr. Morris traveled to New York City recently to visit New York Police Department (NYPD) Police One Plaza headquarters. ‘We learned about how precinct commanders address crime in their area and are held accountable through ‘compstat’. We were able to view a joint operations center and viewed how NYPD and various public safety partners manage emergencies. We also toured various locations and learned how the NYPD responds to crime, emergencies and implements counterterrorism measures. This was a very enlightening experience.’ Courtesy photo
