The Art in Public Places Board (APPB) is beginning to research and discuss possible artwork for the new White Rock Visitor Center.

The Board has scheduled a special meeting in White Rock from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday June 12 in the White Rock Town Hall.

The public is invited to attend the meeting at which the APPB will be asking for input and suggestions for appropriate artwork for the new tourist center.

The board also is exploring the possibility of re-locating the sculpture by Tommy Hicks called “Strange Trio” to White Rock and will be discussing this topic at the June 12 meeting.
