Good News Clubs Start In Schools Next Week

The Good News Clubs in Los Alamos elementary schools are starting next week.

These clubs are non-denominational Bible clubs featuring Bible and missionary stories, songs, memory verses, snacks, games, contests and prizes, and are free for students K-6.

The clubs meet once a week right after school until 5 p.m. at the following:

  • Aspen on Mondays, starting Sept. 9, in the library;
  • Barranca on Thursdays, starting Sept. 12 in the music room;
  • Chamisa on Thursdays, starting Sept. 12 in the library;
  • Mountain on Mondays, starting Sept. 9 in room 404 (Mrs. Schaefer); and
  • Pinon on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 10 in the music room (meet the Good News Club teachers in the lobby at 3:20 p.m. this Tuesday).

Also starting this week are the Eternal Encouragement (E-Squared) Clubs at the middle school.

These are free Christian Clubs that meet at lunchtime each Thursday, starting Sept. 12:

  • Seventh grade students can bring their lunches and come to Mr. Bonzon’s room 259, at the beginning of 5th period; and
  • Eighth grade students can bring their lunches and come to Mr. Atkins’ room 246, at the beginning of 6th period.

Chips and desserts are provided.

There is no charge and students of any faith or no faith are welcome.
