COMMUNITY News:

Indulge your creative side while raising funds for Self Help, Inc.

Gather a couple of your friends and register for the First Glass Fusing Class, noon to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 26. Learn art glass techniques, relax, create and donate to Self Help, Inc., all at the same time.

Based on the number of participants registered for this class, Bullseye Glass will donate up to $800 to Self Help, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 1969 and dedicated to assisting people in need.

The First Glass Fusing Class is a great introduction to the fundamental concepts of creating glass objects in the kiln. Class participants use a wide range of glass colors, shapes, and styles to create an 8 inch x 8 inch plate. No experience is necessary, and all materials and instruction are covered by the tuition.

The knowledgeable instructors at Bullseye Glass teach and support you while you create your personal design. After the class, the pieces will be loaded into the kiln for firing. Once completed, they will be available for pickup.

The Bullseye Glass Resource Center is at 805 Early St. in Santa Fe.
