Fog Seal Project Begins In White Rock Oct. 18

GM Emulsion will start fog sealing Friday, Oct. 18, beginning on Rover Blvd starting at N.M. 4 and continue toward Grand Canyon Drive.

Fog sealing is a light application of a diluted slow-setting asphalt emulsion to the surface of an aged (oxidized) pavement surface. Fog seals are used to restore flexibility to an existing surface.
The fog sealing will continue down Grand Canyon Drive starting at N.M. 4 to Meadow Lane. Crews also will work on Bryce Avenue starting at Rover Boulevard to Meadow Lane. Crews will working 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Weather permitting, work should be completed by Oct. 18.
The contractor will set up a flagging operation allowing traffic to flow.
The contractor will be visiting area business’ and residents door to door leaving information including the proposed daily schedule, coordination instructions and contact information.
