Fifteen New Mexico Hospitals To Receive New Leapfrog Safety Grades

- Of the 2,632 hospitals graded in a recent launch, 832 earned an “A,” 662 a “B,” 964 a “C,” 159 a “D” and 15 an “F”
- Five of the 15 New Mexico hospitals graded earned an “A”, two a “B,” five a C,” three a “D” and 0 an “F”
- Overall, New Mexico ranks 20 in the U.S.
- Oregon, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Wisconsin, and Idaho showed the most improvement over time, with Oregon jumping from 48th in Spring 2012 to eighth this round, Rhode Island from 50th to first, Hawaii from 36th to third, Wisconsin from 44th to sixth and Idaho from 19th to fourth.
