Some people are asking if Donald Trump is a Republican, and I would like to give proof that he is.
 
I've been watching politics since Eisenhower (the last truly conservative republican) and the best I can tell is there are several rules that all good modern Republican leaders must follow.
 
First, you must never admit that you are wrong about anything. Second, you must always find someone else to blame for your problems. And third, the truth must have nothing to do with your opinions.

Supreme Court Rejects Radical Rewrite Of Constitution

The U.S. Supreme Court voted 8-0 in Evenwel v. Abbott to allow states to continue to count total population when drawing state legislative districts after each census.
 
The plaintiffs sought an unprecedented change to the U.S. Constitution forbidding states from using census counts of total population and requiring them to draw districts with equal number of voters.
 
“Today, the Supreme Court upheld a fundamental constitutional value that every person counts,” said Kathay Feng, Common Cause national redistricting director.

Moniz Travels To Israel And Kazakhstan To Continue Discussions On Energy Cooperation

WASHINGTON D.C.  The U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz traveled to Israel. He will continue discussions with Yuval Steinitz, Israeli Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy, and Water Resources, on the ongoing energy partnership between the two countries.
 
He also will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. These discussions will cover a wide range of issues, including the U.S.-Israel Energy Dialogue, as well as expanded cooperation in energy research and energy water nexus programs.

Gene Grant is the featured speaker/ Grant is in his 10th year as host of The Line on New Mexico in Focus. His show airs at 7 p.m. each Friday on PBS. In addition to hosting duties, he also has reported for the PBS NewsHour on six occasions. Grant was a longtime columnist for the Albuquerque Tribune before doing the same for the Albuquerque Journal and Weekly Alibi.

Yesterday, the Las Cruces Public Schools Board on behalf of the Las Cruces Public School District received an ex parte temporary restraining order against AFT NM, LCTF #6341, and STS-NM, enjoining a strike, picketing and protests.
