The Public Works/Traffic Division provides the latest updates on the following projects:

Public Works/Traffic Division projects:

Diamond Dr Paving - San Ildefonso roundabout milling/paving may begin later this week

Residents and businesses along Diamond Drive can expect to see and hear activities related to road construction as Star Paving crews continue the asphalt milling and paving operations daily. Drivers are asked to be cautious when making turns out of side streets adjacent to the work zone, the contractor may be limiting access for left turns out of side streets. Flaggers will be available as needed.

Work to mill and pave Diamond is underway near Arkansas and proceeding through the roundabout at San Ildefonso. As work is completed on Diamond Drive the contractor will work towards milling and paving the roundabout. This work may begin late next week depending upon their progress. Work in the roundabout will require flaggers in all four directions to accommodate traffic throughout the intersection. Drivers are asked to be patient during these operations.

Work will continue Monday through Saturday until the end of the project, which is scheduled for Sept. 27. The County will allow night work, if necessary by the contractor, however no night work is scheduled currently.
