The Los Alamos Master Gardeners invites the community to their Demonstration Garden Fair, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 11.

Children are invited to come and participate in the activities especially for them. For a Butterfly Hunt, children will be given a list of questions. Each of the butterflies, scattered throughout the garden, answers one of the questions. A second activity will be seed planting in cups that the child will take home. Every child is a winner with prizes for participating.

Other activities for all ages are three mini-talks on gopher management, garden pests, water conservation, and a plant clinic for which attendees can bring ailing plant to be assessed.

Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be in the Garden to provide information on the different sections of the garden and specific plants. A plant sale of plants grown by Master Gardeners will be held during the fair. There is no cost for attending.
