CLC News:

The Central Labor Council put on a big Labor Day party in Santa Fe to celebrate the contributions labor made to America.

Beginning with making a middle class and including vacation and sick days, then establishing the 40 hour work week, abolishing child labor, and making safe conditions of employment, labor has been a huge  group to make America what it is.

Between 300 and 400 people came to the events. The Salt of the Earth  sang songs and poetry was read. Kids were able to enjoy face painting, games with prizes, and  jumping air structures.
