‘Keyhole Garden’ To Film In New Mexico

SANTA FE ― New Mexico Film Office Director Todd Christensen announced that the feature film “Keyhole Garden” will begin principal photography Aug. 26 in New Mexico.

The film will be directed by Marco Perego-Saldana and produced by Julie Yorn (Hell or High Water), Alexandra Milchan (The Wolf of Wall Street), Robert Kravis (The Rum Diary), Karl Herrmann (Dinner in America), and Perego-Saldana, from a screenplay written by Perego-Saldana and Rick Rapoza. 

The production will be shot in Albuquerque and employ approximately 100 New Mexico crew members, 40 New Mexico actors and stunt performers and 390 background extras.

Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy) will star in this sprawling and suspenseful drama that illuminates the hardships and divisions plaguing the lives of people on both sides of America’s Southern border.

Michael Michaels of Sycuan Tribal Development Corporation, Mariel and Cisely Saldana of Cinestar Pictures, and Rick Yorn of LBI Entertainment will executive produce along with Ingenious Media and Ashland Hill. Other key members of the production team are Director of Photography Javier Juliá (Animal), Production Designer Jona Tochet (The Last Black Man in San Francisco) and Costume Designer Barcie Waite (Legion).
