Los Alamos County has released the following road work information for the coming week:

Note: the below information is based on a schedule provided by the contractors and may change due to weather or other delays.
Western Area Improvements Phase 3:
Roadwork continues on 44th Street south and 43rd Street north. Utility water line work also continues on 43rd Street (north). Expect flagging operations during ongoing project.
20th Street/Fuller Lodge Improvements:
The south bound lane will remain closed until Thursday, Sept. 3.
The Contractor plans to switch traffic control Thursday, Sept. 3 to allow for southbound travel. The north bound lane will be closed to allow for the demolition of curb and gutter, asphalt and sidewalks on the east side of 20th Street. Pedestrians will need to use the west side of the street.
Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Services such as mail delivery, emergency services, trash and recycling collection will be maintained.
Sherwood Blvd./La Vista Drive:
RMCI is continuing subgrade preparation for the concrete curb and gutter. RMCI will begin work on the change order for a retaining wall near the library. Utility verification and traffic control management will be ongoing. Large equipment and truck hauling will be continuous throughout the project.
Reconstruction work continues on Zuni Street on Barranca Mesa. Crews will start with demolition work on the cul-de-sac east of Los Pueblos. It is anticipated that the duration of work on each cul-de-sac will be approximately 2-3 weeks. Residents will be kept notified of work affecting their homes via personal visits from County staff or via door hangers. Asphalt Resurfacing in White Rock:
Asphalt resurfacing activities continue in White Rock on Pruitt Avenue. Door hangers will be distributed to residents living on the affected streets at least 48 hours in advance. Cisneros concrete will be adjusting manhole covers in the project area.
