Zia Realty Group owner/broker James Chrobocinski handed his son JJ, 6, a pair of giant scissors supplied by the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce to cut the red ribbon on the growing company.

Chrobocinski founded Zia Realty Group in 2012 and has since purchased REA Realty Company and Los Alamos Properties. He also is opening offices in Santa Fe and Espanola.

Now with 22 brokers and more signed on to join the firm, Chrobocinski told the Los Alamos Daily Post that he plans to become the largest real estate firm in New Mexico within seven years.
