Community Kick-Off Gathering ‘Where Discoveries Are Made’ July 19 At Fuller Lodge

COUNTY News:

In an effort to attract new residents, businesses, talent and visitors to the community, Los Alamos County is developing the “discoveries” brand designed to enhance the reputation of Los Alamos and enable all citizens to work together to make Los Alamos an inviting place to live, work, play and stay for potential
prospects.

Los Alamos County Councilors have endorsed a new brand action plan that will guide future community enhancement projects and Los Alamos marketing. The plan incorporates the mindset that Los Alamos is a place that cultivates curiosity and creates aha moments as represented by the brandline “where discoveries are made.”

A Community Kick-Off Gathering is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m., July 19 at Fuller Lodge, to share how residents, businesses and organizations can support the Los Alamos enhancement efforts.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to join together and enhance Los Alamos as an exceptional place to live or start a business,” said Kelly Stewart, Los Alamos County Economic Development marketing specialist and brand manager. “We encourage all community members to support the “discoveries” initiative by joining us on July 19 to learn more about the role they can play.”

The Community Kick-Off Gathering is open to all and will showcase the elements of the brand action plan, provide an overview of the Los Alamos community brand components, and highlight how community members can actively participate to make Los Alamos a great place for residents, businesses and visitors.
