Los Alamos Medical Center is pleased to announce they are expanding their medical services to include orthopaedics.
Culley Christensen, MD has joined the medical staff and will be offering orthopaedic surgical services to patients in Los Alamos and the surrounding area. Dr. Christensen and his family are relocating from Scottsdale to New Mexico. Dr. Christensen is the second surgeon to join LAMC this year as the hospital continues to grow its surgical services.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Christensen to practice at Los Alamos Medical Center,” LAMC CEO Feliciano Jiron said. “Orthopaedic surgery is a growing need in our community, and his training, education and experience have given him a great breadth of expertise in a wide range of procedures that people in our region need. This knowledge and skill will be important as LAMC works to make our community healthier.”
Dr. Christensen specializes in the surgery and treatment of total joints, extremity arthroscopy and many other sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
“I work to achieve the highest quality care for my patients while taking a proactive approach at looking at both their physical and psychological needs. I look forward to supporting the medical needs of Los Alamos,” he said.
Dr. Christensen is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Examiners.
