The public is invited to gather at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building after the polls close at 7 p.m. Tuesday to await results from the County Clerk’s Office.
Updated results will be displayed on a large screen in Council Chambers throughout the evening. The public also may watch election night results streamed live to their computers or use the County Council meeting link at www.losalamosnm.us.
Los Alamos County Clerk Sharon Stover said that as of 11 a.m. today, 3,293 votes have been cast. Any outstanding absentee ballots voters received in the mail must be received in the Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m. Tuesday in order to count.
Polls are open until 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Municipal Building in Los Alamos and Fire Station 3 on N.M. 4 in White Rock.
Polls will be closed Sunday and Monday and reopen 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Municipal Building and Los Alamos Golf Course Community Building and Fire Station 3 on N.M. 4 in White Rock. Voters registered in Los Alamos County may vote at any of these locations.
Stover encourages anyone who hasn’t voted to do so today, Saturday or Tuesday.
