Community Giving Tree At The Co+op

CO+OP News:

The Los Alamos Co+op Market is putting together a Giving Tree in the Co+op café this year starting Monday and running through Dec. 14.

The Co+op works to strengthen the local community this holiday season by encouraging compassionate giving. The Giving Tree gifts go to families in need thanks to the Co+op’s partnership with the Los Alamos School District. 

How to participate:

  • Look for gift request “leaves” on the tree in the back of the Co+op Café, starting Nov. 17.
  • Take a request sheet and buy the desired item(s). 
  • Return wrapped presents to the Co+op with the request form attached before Dec. 14.
  • The Co+op will sort and distribute returned gifts on or before Dec. 19.

Know someone in need? Request forms are available at the Co+op or any of the Los Alamos elementary schools.
