Help fill the float! The HMS Implacable, the local chapter of The Royal Manticoran Navy, is supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots this year and will participate in the Holiday Lights Parade 6 p.m. Saturday on Central Avenue.

HMS Implacable officers will walk in the parade, and they encourage people to come up and put toys for the drive onto their float. Any service men and women, active or inactive, are invited to walk with them.

In honor of Doreen Gunkel, who spearheaded the local Toys for Tots drive, the U.S. Marines Corps will be presenting a plaque to the HMS Implacable after the parade Saturday at the American Legion. Gunkel died in July.
