Community Development Advisory Board Members To Canvass Neighborhoods For Resident Input

COUNTY News:

The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) is tasked with making recommendations to the County Council about the County’s code enforcement program.

To ensure these recommendations reflect the needs and interests of the community, the board needs as much input from the public as possible.

During the next couple of months, members of CDAB will go out into the community and canvass neighborhoods to get input directly from people who live here.

Board members will knock on doors to ask a few questions about experiences with and opinions on code enforcement issues.

If you are available, it should only take about 5-7 minutes of your time to provide feedback that will help inform the board’s recommendations to Council.

There are other ways to make sure your voice is heard. Contact the board by email at cdab.cdd@lacnm.us or make public comment at regular meetings on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 of the Municipal Building.

Also keep an eye out for information regarding an open house that will be scheduled in the next 1-2 months as well as an opportunity to comment online through the County’s Open Forum website.

Board members look forward to hearing from you on these issues and appreciate any time you can take to help us understand the community’s priorities for code enforcement.
