CommuniTREE Celebrates County Fair & Rodeo Aug. 13-15

The ever-changing CommuniTREE displays a country-western “boots, badges and bandanas” theme celebrating the annual Los Alamos County Fair & Rodeo coming up Aug. 13-15.

The theme for the Fair is “On the Road Again” and information on events that span the three-day celebration can be downloaded in the Fair booklet available on the Parks, Recreation and Open Space “Programs and Events” webpage.

CommuniTREE was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to help lift employee spirits; it is sponsored by County employees who volunteer to decorate the tree each month with a different theme. The month of August is sponsored by the Communications & Public Relations Office.

CommuniTREE can be found at the southern end of the first floor of the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave., and visitors are welcome to stop by and check it out.
