Mozart on the Rocks – Opera in Bandelier 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29
OPEN TO ALL! The Los Alamos Opera Guild of The Santa Fe Opera and Bandelier National Monument will co-host OPERA AT BANDELIER.
The event will be held at the Bandelier amphitheater on National Public Lands Day. Visitors will be able to enjoy the fall at Bandelier while listening to music. The performance will be THE THREE SOPRANOS singing Mozart; coordinated by local Opera singer Alicia Soloman.

Come early to tailgate picnic at the new White Rock Visitor Center complex before you hop the Atomic City Transit to Bandelier National Monument. Tailgating begins at 4 p.m., shuttle buses will begin leaving for the park at 5 p.m., and performance to begin at 6:15 p.m.

Brave New Brass will present a variety of music written or arranged for brass instruments (quintet, trio, duet, and solo) ranging from the Baroque music of the 17th century (Purcell and Bach) to contemporary composers of brass music (Frackenpohl and Ewazen), with some jazz and tangos thrown in for variety.
